Dancing for 39 years, Jennifer Sheehan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dance & Dance Education from New York University. Before opening The Broadway Dance Academy, she studied at the Alvin Ailey Dance Center, Martha Graham Dance Center, Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. Jennifer continues her education by attending classes and teacher conventions in New York City where the latest techniques and methods are taught.

Jennifer feels that with her expertise, your child can receive the best dance education in the area.

Kara has been at Broadway Dance Academy since the age of 8. She holds a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Maine at Orono. While in Orono took numerous dance classes in all styles of dance. Kara also studied at Lasell College in Newton, MA. While at Lasell Kara was a part of the Rhythm Unique Dance Team. She continues her dance education while going to classes and conventions in Boston and New York City.

Jennifer Bourgeault

Jennifer holds a B.A. in Dance from DeSales University where she studied the classical modern techniques of Limon, Cunningham, Horton & Taylor. While in Philadelphia, Jennifer was a soloist with the Opera Company of Philadelphia’s The Pearl Fishers and Aida. Upon returning to her native state of Maine in 2006 Jennifer Bourgeault established Collective Motion (CM), a collaborative modern dance company. With CM she has had the opportunity to work with Maine’s best dancers and choreographers presenting work throughout Maine and New England. Congrats CM for five years of dance in Maine!
